Frequently asked questions

We are based in Yorkshire, but cover the UK and worldwide – just get in touch!  Some of our offers may be limited to the area’s immediately near our head office such as Leeds, York, Harrogate, Bradford, Pontefract, Wakefield, Doncaster, Castleford and Halifax.

We don’t own our our data centre, and we don’t pretend to – many comms providers do tell some fibs about this, but here is a tip, go to https://whatismyipaddress.com/ip-lookup and put in the address of one of the providers servers, it will tell you where they host.  We partner with Hardy Fisher, and host in their data centre, on a Nutanix platform.

Just to clarify first off, we do offer different brands such as Yealink and Snom.  However, Fanvil produce phones with great functions, and we know that 3CX love them too.  It tends to mean that 3CX provide templates for them very quickly after release.

We have worked with 3CX since version 12, with 16.5 being the latest release.  That means 8 different versions (there is no 13 or 13.5!)

If we can’t help – we will know someone who can, just get in touch.

We certainly can – along with the equipment needed for it, such as routers and switches.  We can supply ADSL, FTTC, FTTP and leased lines from most providers such as BT, Talk Talk, Openreach and Virgin.

We have used all of these platforms previously, while some are great, and some are cheap – the Nutanix platform from Hardy Fisher is both great value and great technically.

We do not directly offer finance, nor do we take a “kick back” from a finance company for anyone that uses them.  We do however work with a couple of select leasing partners, they will be your direct contacts for anything regarding leasing, but we can provide an indicative price, and it will not require a credit search.

Our main purpose is not to supply hardware, but we can provide VoIP handsets to you without a phone system if needed.

You can just buy a licence from us, so just give us a call on 0333 3580370 or send us an e-mail on hello@rocketuc.com

As standard our agreements last for 12 months, in alignment with 3CX yearly licences.  If a lease, it is likely to be 3 or 5 years.

Yes, we supply Sennheiser headsets and are an official partner.  Sennheiser are the only supported headset with 3CX, however, many others do work.
