In his gap year Adam got his first experience of IT within a school (apart from studying it!), working for the very school he attended himself, upon graduation from Loughborough he returned to working in Education – starting as an IT Technician, working his way up through being a Systems Administrator, to Systems and Timetable Manager and finally Network and Systems Manager at Orton Longueville School in Peterborough.
After taking a short break travelling around North America, he ended up in Yorkshire, working in the private sector for many years, and then concentrating on VoIP and Telephony managing a support team across UK locations.
A move back to working in IT within Education at Rodillian Multi Academy Trust in Leeds followed, but he felt he could offer a unique insight and service to schools and colleges within Telephony and co-founded Rocket Unified Communications.
At home he has a wife (Kerry – he was made to add her name after she complained) and son (Gabe), and 2 dogs (Bear and Turbo), plus an unhealthy love of Lego, bass guitars and drums.
